I3s technology in hero splendor, APDV ignition system and bank angle sensor

Hero engine 

I3s technology(Idle Start-Stop System)

I3s is a technology developed by Hero Motocorp which puts the engine in sleep mode when it isn't required. It stops the engine While standing on traffic, talking on mobile phone on side of road or any other reason. If your bike is running ideally more than specified time that is sensed by sensor and sends signals to ECU. ECU stepped engine as you press clutch liver your engine starts. It happens in very short time, thanks to science and technology that minimizes pollutions and gives fuel efficient ride for us.
i3s basically stands for Idle Start-Stop System which turns the engine off automatically when not required and then switches the engine on when you simply press the clutch.

APDV ignition system 

The technology is used by Hero motor corps in his motorcycle Splendor Pro, Passion Pro and the Splendor NXG.

term APDV stands for "Advanced Pro Series Digital Variable Ignition System".
The injection of the spark plugs is controlled by ECU on basis of information/ signals provided by various sensors fitted in bike.
APDV System offers better and efficient combustion of fuel, generates more power and reduces pollution. It is also helpful in easy starting.

Bank angle sensor or steering angle sensor

It is safety device fitted in modern bike or other vehicles. It cut off the engine power when your bike inclines to the ground more than specified. Bank angle is tilting angle of your motorcycle when you are turning or changing the direction.
Bank angle sensor is a magnetic encoders which measures inclined angle of your motorcycle and sends signals to ECU. ECU cut the incommig supply of ignition coils and engine switches off.

It is also called steering angle, inclined angle or tilting angle sensor. It saves the rider by reducing speed, eliminating fire hazards and minimizing bike damage.
